These patterns, while helpful in childhood, can become obstacles in adulthood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Growing up in an environment where love or approval was conditional on achievement can lead to overworking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being the \u201chelper\u201d or \u201cfixer\u201d in your family can make it difficult to set boundaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internalizing messages that rest is lazy can create guilt around taking breaks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing these patterns is an essential part of breaking free from burnout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spotting the Signs of Burnout<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To address burnout, you first need to recognize it.
